Obtain the above information and why do we need it:
All of the above information is collected when you sign your child or children up for a forest school session. This form is completed on booking and can be saved by logging in or creating an account via the website.
We can also use these details (via signing up for our newsletter) to send updates and provide details about when the next sessions will be running.
This information also allows us to fully care for your child in regard to food requirements or incase of an accident.
We may share this information with emergency services if we need to.
We are trying to go paperless with our registration forms and information collection, therefore there will be only electronic copies of the above information. Copies will be via email and on our Acuity Scheduling App.
Personal Information Storage:
All of your information will be stored securely.
Registration Forms: We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. We will then dispose of your information by deleting the registration forms sent to a password protected email from the website during the booking process, the Acuity Scheduling App and the attendance sheets from daily forest school sessions. For tax purposes the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they stop being customers.
Child/Children’s details: We will keep your personal data while your child is in attendance. When we are informed that you no longer need our services, we will delete all data within 2 weeks by deleting the emails containing your child/children’s information and your account on our Acuity Scheduling App.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information includes:
- Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us at forestandcoastalschool@gmail.com or by deleting your account on the website.
