Muddy Puddles, as a business, officially started back in the Autumn of 2019, delayed due to the global pandemic, we only ran a limited amount of sessions such as the Mini’s (Parent and Toddler Club) and a few birthday parties in 2020. In 2021 after being approved for outdoor activities again by the local authority, the Easter Holidays Forest School sessions began continued by the Summer. 

Muddy Puddles has become a popular childcare for children ages four to eleven, during half terms and school holidays. Thanks to the local families that have attended and spread the word to other friends and family; we were fully booked for most of our sessions in the Autumn of 2021 and Winter & Spring 2022! 

We love to see new and returning children come and experience forest school. With forest school being majority child-led, the children have the freedom to explore and develop through creativity, while within the forest school ethos and learning boundaries. We see children gain more resiliences and confident every session from their hands on learning experience.

To us the best sign of a fantastic day is smiling children, exhausted after a long day in the fresh air, covered in mud!

We look forward to re-opening in the Summer of 2024 after taking some time away!
